In Brazilian folklore, the Curupira is a supernatural guardian of the forests. With bright red hair and feet turned backward to confuse hunters, he protects the flora and fauna from those who would take more than they need.

Our lodge honors this spirit. We are family-run, and deeply integrated into the Castanho's waterfall community. Every visit supports the preservation of our sanctuary.
